The Colorado QRP Club was saddened to learn of the passing of 
member #73 - K0ZL, Bill Leahy. Bill passed away on Monday 
evening, February 2nd, (2009) while working his regular shift 
as a technician at the Coors brewing plant in Golden, Colorado. 

Bill had been a ham since he was a boy and was one of CQC's 
earliest members and supporters. Bill and his wife (Bonnie, 
CQC # 72) started their now widely known and respected amateur 
radio repair business, B&B Technical Services in Arvada, back 
in 1982. 

Bill was one of a handful of regular 52 simplex operators in 
the Denver area and will be missed not only on two meters but 
across all the other amateur bands as well. Our thoughts and 
prayers go out to his family - 73s Bill!
