Ron L. Zoerb - KIØII (Colorado QRP Club member # 192)
August 6, 1945 - January 24, 2018


Born in Arnold Nebraska, Ron spent his entire childhood on a farm 
enjoying hunting and fishing as well as helping with normal farm tasks.

After marrying Joyce Anderson in 1966 they made their home in Denver 
where they rasied their two sons, Michael and Marty. 

Ron is survived by wife Joyce and son Michael, granddaughter Emerlie. 
Daughter-in-law Kathy and step granddaughter Brieana and her daughter 
Cora. Brother Rickie (Donna) Zoerb, Sisters Rhonda Adler and Reita (Terry) 
Anderson, sister-in-law Karen (Richard) Lopez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his son Marty, in 2004, and his parents Charles 
and Veda and brother-in-law Ron Adler.

Ron loved the outdoors, coaching his sons' sports, racing go-karts, racing 
sailboats and finally slowing down for camping and kayaking. Ron enjoyed amateur 
radio and was one of the earlier members of the Colorado QRp Club in addition to 
participating in a number of on-air contest of which he won several.
